About Me

Hello! I am Kenzie, and I am a holistic practitioner and Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). I practice Massage Therapy, Herbalism, Aromatherapy, Flower Essences, and Quantum Touch. I have a deep love for nature, and in my spare time I am often found with my dogs wandering somewhere in the woods or mountains.

My interests and hobbies vary, but a few of them are hiking, foraging, creating - anything from drawing, painting, sculpture, and graphics to herbal medicine, soaps, lotions, balms, etc. I also enjoy traveling, reading, gardening, learning, blacksmithing, and archery.

Health and wellness is my passion. Medicine is what makes sense to me. I primarily work doing Massage Therapy at the moment, but feel free to ask me anything about holistic health. I love to talk about my passions, especially plants.  I plan to continue educating myself in the field as long as I possibly can.

I am currently completing an Equine Sport Therapy program. In the near future, I hope to add Traditional Chinese Medicine, including Acupuncture, to my list of skills!

The Future

My goal for the immediate future is to expand to include animals in my practice. I currently provide massage and body work for horses, dogs, cats, and possibly any other animal I can.

My History

I enrolled in Norther Star College in Edmonton. I took the Earth Spirit Medicine program run by the phenomenal herbalist Robert Rogers, and his inspirational wife Laurie Szott-Rogers, with some classes taught by the wonderful Catherine Potter & Skye McLaughlin. I put everything into the three year program, and I received a lot more from it than I could ever imagine. We covered so much in those three years including: anatomy & physiology, nutrition, herbology, preparation, identification, medicinal mushrooms, safety, aromatherapy, flower essence's, crystals, meditation & breath work, communication, family constellations, iridology, feng shui, neo-shamanic journeying, and journaling.

I graduated in 2014 with honours and earned my diploma in Earth Spirit Medicine with a minor in Integrative Therapies. Due to an unfortunate injury I had to put my plans to get started practicing on hold for a while after graduating. Due to this, in the autumn of 2014 I traveled to North Carolina to attend the Southeast Wise Women's herbal conference. I attended many classes and workshops there to expand upon my knowledge. From there I studied Quantum Healing, a type of energy work, becoming a certified practitioner.

In July 2015, I moved to Lethbridge, Alberta. Craving to work more with my hands and less at a desk, I enrolled in college for massage therapy. I absolutely adored discovering even more about anatomy and physiology, working with my hands, and doing something active was an added bonus. It was a lot of hard work, but I graduated with honours in December, 2017.

In July, 2019, I enrolled in school for Reflexology, adding that to my service list.

Currently, I am in a program for Equine Sport Therapy and will be completing that in June of 2025. I look forward to working with horses and riders.

Massage is my main service, but I tend to not be able to stick to one modality as humans are complex beings, not separate bodies and minds, and so I will often offer advice in regards to herbalism, flower essences, and aromatherapy when needed and if desired.
